Preserved florals, red wine, soy wax, acrylic medium on wood.
Flowers include: pampas grass, chardonnay vineyard vines, and wild red roses all locally forged from Sonoma County, California.
The pampas grass was soaked in cabernet red wine for two weeks. The vines were hung to dry out for another two weeks to acclimate. The wine naturally dies the flowers and gives this art piece more of a warmer earthy tone.
This art piece was created during the 2016 harvest season, all natural materials are at their most biodynamic state.
